Trio Simonutti was founded in 1988. It is composed by: Tripo Simonutti, violin and his daughters-Ana, piano and Irena, violin. The Trio Simonutti has established itself as one of Serbia's foremost chamber ensembles. Since the 1988 the Trio has performed all over the country as well as in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, China, Mongolia…
The Trio Simonutti has appeared in more than 1000 recitals and on many radio and television broadcasts. As soloist they performed with the Belgrade Radio and TV Orchestra, Beijing Philharmonic Orchestra (China), Mongolian Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra "Stanislav Binicki", Nis Chamber Orchestra etc. The Trio has recorded for all radio and TV centers in the country and for Chinese, Bulgarian, Mongolian, Croatian, Slovenian, Macedonian, Bosnian TV... They recorded one LP, three CDs and four cassettes. They have received an array of honors and awards. Trio Simonutti has been awarded First Prize of Jury and the First Prize of audience at the International Festival "Golden Autumn" in Mongolia. Many composers wrote and dedicated their works to Trio Simonutti (Despic, Vauda, Babic, Kambaskovic, Popovic, Hercigonja, Rasinski, Kostic, Hocevar, Baronijan...)
